Treatment of Absence of Ejaculation

Ejaculation happen during what is called CLIMAX, a pleasurable sensation accompanied by semen discharge and loss of erection.

Absence of Ejaculation is much more common than is thought. Vibrator therapy and Bio Feedback are very useful treatment options.

Anejaculation is characterized by the absence of ejaculation. The causes can be psychological and physical. Psychological anejaculation is usually anorgasmic i.e. unaccompanied by orgasm. This again, can be situational or total. Situational anejaculation means that a man can ejaculate in some situation but not in others. For instance, a man may be able to ejaculate and attain orgasm with one partner but not with another. This usually occurs when there is psychological conflict or a relationship difficulty with one partner. Or he may be able to ejaculate quite normally during masturbation but not during intercourse. It can also occur in stressful situations, as when a man is asked to collect a sample of semen in the laboratory for infertility treatment. In total anejaculation, the man is never able to ejaculate when awake.

Mechanical vibrator : This is an office procedure. Patient must develop hard erection by self stimulation. Use oral drug or self intrapenile injection can also be used to develop erection. Vibrator has bristles which vibrate and is applied to the under surface of the penis between the glans and the shaft . Increased stimulation can elicit ejaculatory response. The time taken to induce erection can vary from 20 mts to one hour or even more. It might take more than one session to induce ejaculation.
